What Are You Made Of?

I had never been out of the country, but kept feeling a tug in my spirit to go to The Netherlands. The minute I agreed, money started pouring in and I never asked anyone for a penny. Plane tickets, passports...all paid for. I showed up not having a clue what I was supposed to do and for two days nothing happened. But then in the middle of the night this Scripture came to me: "Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; test my heart and my mind." (Psalm 26:2) I sensed these words in my spirit, "What are you made of?"

I got out of bed and started walking the floor commanding the dry bones to live according to Ezekiel 37. I knew that I was supposed to go to The Hague, walk around it and pray. So the next day, that's what I did, then I did it again. From there, things broke open and I met this person...who knew that person...and then there was a phone call, "Our Bible school instructor had a family emergency and cannot teach at our school in Amsterdam the next few days. Can you take his classes?" There were senior pastors in that school and on Sunday I taught in one church then had to race to another for their service.

All of a sudden, the dead bones had breath in them!

I shared this to ask if there is something that seems dead in your life--no movement for a loooong time. God is asking you, according to Ps 26:2, the same thing He asked me..."What are you made of?" Will you speak to the dead bones or continue to look at them in their current state and feel disappointed and disillusioned?

Get up, walk the floor, speak to the dead bones and command them to live. Now prepare yourself for movement!
